Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative, suitable for repeated multi-dose withdrawal from a single vial without microbial proliferation between uses. It is a standard laboratory solvent used for the reconstitution of lyophilized peptide research compounds, ensuring solubility and stability of the reconstituted material over an extended period under refrigerated storage.
